Perfect Peace—2016 Texas District Educators Conference

Greetings from your 2016 Educators Conference Planning Committee; we are excited to be able to host this year’s conference at the beautiful Horseshoe Bay Resort. With the beautiful setting it is our prayer that you will experience “Perfect Peace” the kind of peace that only comes from a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. Our theme verse comes from Isaiah 26:3 “You keep Him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you. Because He trusts in you.” You will have an opportunity during our conference time to experience a personal journey to help you discover that “Perfect Peace.”

Registration is $185.00 per person (this includes breakfast on Monday & Tuesday, lunch & dinner on Monday, and snacks). Deadline to register is Friday, Nov. 11. Dinner on Sunday will be on your own; the resort will host a special priced fajita buffet for our group priced at $16.00 per person. Please be sure to specify on registration if you plan to participate in the fajita buffet.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

Sunday, November 20, conference kicks off with two Early Bird Sectionals at 4 p.m. and an uplifting opening worship service to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Monday, November 2, we begin at 8 a.m. with opening devotion followed by the day’s program which includes sessions with our keynote speaker Dr. Jack Singer, President & CEO of Psychologically Speaking. Dr. Singer is a professional speaker, licensed psychologist and author; having written “The Teacher’s Ultimate Stress Mastery Guide,”“Dynamic Health” and “5 Actionable Steps to Quickly Develop the Mindset of a Champion Educator.” We will also offer individual sectional times – you should see all the great topics we have in store for you!

Enjoy a relaxing buffet dinner on the beach of The Yacht Club followed by an opportunity to experience a personal journey to help you discover that “Perfect Peace.” Our evening will conclude with an uplifting outdoor worship time.

Tuesday, November 22, we will begin with worship and have the opportunity for district updates from Texas District President, Rev. Ken Hennings, followed by your choice of a mega sectional. Our conference will conclude before lunch.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS (Deadline Friday, Nov. 11):

Below are a few instructions to help you through the registration process:

1. When registering you have the option to register as an Individual or part of a Group. Choose the appropriate option to register as an Individual, Join a Group or Create a Group. If you are not sure if a group has been created for your faculty/staff you can search for it and join that way.

2. Once you have selected Individual or Group you can proceed to the Registration page. You have the option to pay online with a credit card or select "Show Other Payment Options" below the green "Register" button to pay by check. If paying by check make checks payable to "Texas District-Educators Conference" and mail to:

3. Once you begin the registration process you will simply need to enter in your information and select your sectional choices. Click to download a sectional schedule or the description of sectional choices.
